Hmmm... Let's see. High unemployment rate, crime-ridden urban areas, broken economy, bankrupt government, failed education system, poorly utilized natural resources, corrupt and inefficient police, overburdened and collapsing medical system, large segments of the population addicted to drugs, and Spanish is the predominant language. You're right! California IS Mexico!
